you've not truly received from God until you feel compelled to give it away.
you can’t lack anything you give.
in our study yesterday, we discussed a profound truth: everything God gives us is meant to be shared—both with Him and with others.
i would be lying if i said i never thought of giving up, but something always reminds me that it's not an option. you can only quit something that you're doing yourself. when you yield completely to God and allow Him to work through you, the pressure dissolves. you're not the one doing it, so you're free from controlling the outcome.
consider this: i can pray for someone's miracle, but i'm not the one performing it. whether the miracle happens or not has no bearing on my ministry because God is the one doing the work.
ministry is like being a waiter. we simply take what the Master Chef prepares and deliver it to others. a waiter neither bears blame for the taste nor claims credit for the meal's excellence. similarly, as ministers, we must remember that Christ in us is the true measure of our ministry. our effectiveness in this life is measured by how deeply we know Him and engage with His presence.
Scripture tells us that "greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world." therefore, we must focus inward on this greater presence. any attention we give to worldly measures will inevitably lead us to settle for less.
i encourage you: fix your eyes on the unseen. pray to God who sees you in secret. center your thoughts on divine matters. direct your energy toward knowing and communing with God. true success isn't found in answered prayers but in the act of prayer itself. our ultimate goal should be hearing from God, regardless of what He says.
i pray i never keep in my hands, what should be in yours.
your brother,
o.
